Many teachers who have participated in NYSTCE scoring sessions in the past consider their experience to have enhanced their professional development. NYSED has included NYSTCE scoring activities among the types of professional development suggested for teachers and their school districts. Scorers may request a Professional Development Certificate for each session in which they participate.
